Our collective key personnel experience of over 100 years in the industry covers all facets of forwarding and clearing from receipt of Indent up to delivery of product to the door of the client, with special emphasis being placed on correct customs tariff utilization.
On the few occasions that we are not able to confidently advise our clients on the correct tariff heading applicable to a product, we oversee the process in order that a formal determination is obtained from SARS.
We continuously monitor the service-levels of our carefully selected transporters to ensure that the high standards that we set for ourselves is maintained right up to the delivery phase of the operation.
Our expertise in Ship’s Agency has lead to the establishment of a dedicated Ship Spares Unit, which specializes in the clearance and delivery of imported stores and spares to vessels in the ports of Cape Town, Saldanha Bay and Mossel Bay, as well as off port limits. Very often various goods are also landed ex these vessels, and we arrange for their repatriation and/or transshipment to another port of call.
