FORWARDING
Our forwarding, both sea and air, is handled through the world-wide offices of Global Logistics Alliance, who have agents strategically placed to service the requirements of clients wherever in the world they may source their products.
Our office carefully monitors shipments from the time that the order is placed, through the cargo- ready stage, the vessel confirmation stage, the arrival of vessel, right up to delivery to the door of the client. A regular report provides clients with an up-to- date summary of progress on all shipments in the pipeline, with changes being highlighted in order that contingency arrangements may be made with regards tight deadlines, especially vital with regards the retail trade, where discounts are often enforced for late delivery of orders.
Apart from the usual Break –Bulk, Full Container Load and LCL (groupage) shipments, we also offer an assembly service whereby small shipments from various suppliers in the same area which are ready simultaneously, are consolidated into one Full Container Load, thereby effecting major cost savings on freight and local landside charges.
